That makes about 13 scenes, each following its own line of the song. The length is the whole price driver, so a vertical clip and a widescreen cut of the same length cost the same.
Retakes stay cheap on purpose. Being picky is the point.

What exactly is a credit?+–
Credits are how you pay for the steps that cost us money to run, like filming and scene previews. Every action in the app shows its credit cost before you confirm it, and the calculator on this page runs the same numbers the app charges.
What happens when a render fails?+–
Credits come back on their own for every scene we can show was never filmed. The video page shows exactly what a stopped run charged and what came back.
Do unused credits roll over?+–
Plan credits refresh every month. On Label you can also buy a one-time top-up, and those credits never expire.
How far does the free tier go?+–
Soundcheck is free and comes with 120 credits when you sign up. You can upload your song, fix the lyrics, get your Song DNA, and see your first scenes as pictures. When you want the video filmed, you pick a plan.
Why do the finishes cost such different amounts?+–
Each finish runs on a different video model, and those bill us very different rates per second of footage. Sketch is the cheapest way to get your song filmed, Cinema is for release day, and the fine print on every finish names the model doing the filming.
