What exactly is a credit?+

Credits are how you pay for the steps that cost us money to run, like filming and scene previews. Every step in the app shows its credit cost before you confirm it, and the calculator on this page runs the same numbers the app charges.

What happens when filming fails?+

Credits come back on their own for every scene we can show was never filmed. The video page shows exactly what a stopped run charged and what came back.

Do unused credits roll over?+

Plan credits don't. They refresh every month, and whatever is left expires when the new ones arrive. On Label you can also buy a one-time top-up, and those credits never expire.

How far does the free tier go?+

Soundcheck is free and comes with 120 credits when you sign up. You can upload your song, fix the lyrics, get your Song DNA, and see your first scenes as pictures. When you want the video filmed, you pick a plan.
